Jim Matthew REALTOR
Born and raised in Norwood, Ma Jim attended Norwood public schools and played Norwood baseball with a passion. He attended a local vocational high school with a major in structural woodworking.
Upon graduation Jim joined the United States Coast Guard. Where he become a Marine Engineer and Law Enforcement Officer. He also served as a Marine Engineer on Tug boats and ships for over 15 years. After being involved in a traumatic accident onboard a tugboat and sustaining severe injuries to his legs, Jim decided after over 15 years at sea that it was time to come ashore.
Jim’s love for helping people, passion for architecture and his entrepreneurial spirit shine through in his Real Estate Business. It is with these passions along with the values of the USCG and Marine Engineering background that he brings his attention to detail, integrity and accountability. Jim prides himself on dependability, trustworthiness and the utmost dedication to his clients. “Can’t” is not in his vocabulary.
He believes in being straight to the point and telling it like it is. If you are looking for a Realtor who is easily swayed into what the client “thinks” is the right price or what the client “thinks” is beautiful decor, then Jim is probably NOT your guy.
If you are looking for a Realtor who is not afraid to tell you what the best way to market your property is and is willing to work with you to get it right and sold. Then Jim IS your guy.
Jim is definitely a people person. It is not uncommon to find him chatting up a complete stranger while out and about. He believes everyone has story and would love to hear yours.
Outside of the workplace Jim enjoys time with his amazingly patient and understanding wife, their dog Shay, friends and family. He loves spending time in the mountains and lakes of Northern New England for fishing and snowmobiling any chance he gets. Jim and his wife are huge animal lovers. They are both very active Volunteers for Missing Dogs Massachusetts. An organization helping to reunite lost dogs with their owners.
So, You made it this far? Wow, I’m impressed!
Then you must be as serious about Real Estate as I am. Did I mention that I love coffee? We should grab a cup together and discuss your goals and how I can help you. I look forward to the possibility of working with you on one of the biggest decisions of your life. A task I do not take lightly.
Thank you much,
